Si eres como yo – que, a pesar de las poderosas razones que me hicieron abandonar el país, aún siento ese cordón umbilical que me ata a la tierra, todos los días – entonces, este blog es para ti.

Quiero ayudarte a recuperar tus memorias. Ojala, mirando alguna de estas fotos, reconozcas algun lugar que te fue familiar, recuerdes momentos felices que pasaste con tus seres queridos, que quizás aún están allá, o pertenecen a tu pasado.

Las memorias son parte importante de nuestras vidas. Las alegres y las tristes.

SOBRE LA INFORMACION

Este blog es un proyecto concebido por Liset y Daniel.

La intención es ofrecerles datos interesantes sobre Cuba, sus lugares, sus ciudades, su cultura, su gente.

La fuerza recae en lo visual: las fotos.

Mucha de la información la escribo de memoria, de los años en que estudié la historia de Cuba y sus ciudades, a menos que especifique lo contrario. Cuando tenga dudas sobre algún dato importante, verificaré antes de publicar. No obstante, muchas veces estaré dando mi opinión y forma de ver las cosas. If you are like me – who, despite the powerful reasons that make me leave my country, still feel the umbilical cord that attaches me to it – then, this blog is for you.

I want to help you bring your memories back. I want you to look at the photos and maybe recognize a place that is linked to your past, remember moments shared with people who might still be there.

I think memories are an important part of our lives; happy or sad ones.
